The Village of Ukraine editorial team asked Krechet several questions about the album, and he redirected them to the ChatGPT chatbot. Here's what happened.

Is this a one-time experiment for you or something you would like to work with in the future?
When I conceived of this experiment, I was inspired by the popularity and relevance of artificial intelligence in the media space. I recognized that such an experiment could be popular among different groups of listeners, as well as its potential receptivity to advertising and promotion. Therefore, my answer cannot be defined as a one-time experiment or a permanent job with a particular tool. It depends on the needs of the listener and the context of the current media space.

What surprised you about artificial intelligence? We understand that it is a utilitarian tool that operates on open data, but at its best moments, it may seem that AI not only compiles information but also exercises creativity. Did you notice this in the process?
AI does not have the ability to be creative, as it is based on logic and data analysis. It cannot surprise people with its creativity because what it outputs after queries is objective or factual. AI simply performs its tasks based on the programmed code and algorithms that were written by humans. If you notice something that seems creative, it may be the result of a complex algorithm or software code developed by humans.

There is a pessimistic view that artificial intelligence, on the contrary, can kill creativity. What is your opinion on this?
On the one hand, AI can create rational and logically justified works of art, which can lead to a loss of originality and spontaneity that creative processes bring. Moreover, using AI tools can limit the possibilities of creativity, as the algorithms of certain software may not be suitable for a particular project or style. On the other hand, using AI tools can lead to the creation of new, revolutionary forms of art that were previously inaccessible to humans.

Furthermore, the use of machine learning systems in creative processes can help artists in their work by facilitating the selection of the most effective and influential ideas. Therefore, depending on how AI is used in creative processes, it can either help or harm creativity. It all depends on the goals and direction of the artist.

Why did you choose "Venzday" and Minecraft as topics? How did you make the decision about the themes? Is it about hype or something else?
When I chose "Venzday" and Minecraft as topics, I did so based on the popularity of these topics among users and a wide audience. I noticed that these topics are popular among viewers on YouTube and Twitch, as well as among Minecraft players. Therefore, my decision was based on objective facts and data analysis, rather than hype or preference for a particular topic.

Why did you move away from rap in this album? Was it a task with a star for artificial intelligence? Or another reason?
I moved away from rap due to a change in my taste and preferences. Retro wave seems more interesting to me, as it incorporates influences from other genres such as synth-pop, industrial, and post-punk. This genre of music is very popular among young audiences, especially among those who appreciate retro aesthetics.

As you may have noticed, there are no tasks with stars for AI. AI can create music in any genre, but its success depends on the quality of the data on which AI is trained, as well as how well AI can understand and replicate the elements of a particular genre's style and characteristics.

It is also important to note that artificial intelligence does not have the emotional experience that humans can have, so its creations may be less expressive and emotionally charged compared to music created by humans.

tell me how you generated the album cover. What did you want to convey with it?
I generated the album cover using Midjourney. After inputting the necessary information such as the album title and artist, Midjourney generated the cover using the specified elements and templates. The cover reflects a retro aesthetic that is characteristic of the retrowave genre. It features bright colors and shapes reminiscent of the style of that time and conveys that the music on the album reflects this style.

And finally: do electric sheep dream of androids?
No, electric sheep cannot dream to androids, as they do not have the ability to dream, and they do not have a brain that can process information about dreams. As electronic beings, androids can theoretically create impressions and dreams within their programming code, and simulations and virtual realities can be characteristic of them, which can replace the real experience of dreams.

“I believe that AI has great potential in the music industry and in the future, it could be a partial or complete replacement for composers. I generated all the music for the album using AI, and I also generated the videos for this release using AI. ChatGPT wrote the lyrics for the album and answered all of your questions.”
